You can’t deny that younger students pay attention to upperclassman. Look at this first grader and senior. The older generation leading the new generation. This little girl (my youngest) sees how the older girl is standing still and and being respectful during the national anthem and prayer at Tattnall Square Academy in Macon, Georgia and begins to follow her. People are always watching. People are always looking for role models. No matter who you are, no matter what you have gone thru, the Lord can use you to change the life of others. If this pic was not taken, this young lady would never know just how much of a influence she is already.

I’ll keep the young lady’s name anonymous until I get permission to reveal it. She has an amazing story that I pray she will allow me to share. Who knows, maybe she can write it herself here and share it with all of you.

Have a blessed weekend and may the Holy Spirit lead you to life changing moments. PJSLB

How to pray during a hectic morning

Wow, what a morning it has been.  From waking up late, getting the kids ready, trying to find a jacket, morning meetings and now finally being able to turn on my computer….whew!!!!

How should i start my day?  I usually like starting my day with reflection and petition.  Now my day is well on its way.  I’ll start my day by saying All praise and honor goes to you Lord.  Regardless of how hectic my day is, continues or becomes, I pray lord that you be in the forefront of my mind.  May you be the reason for any decision i make.

I honestly was asking the questions “How to pray during a hectic morning” because i wanted to get your opinions and also because i felt out of touch.  Right now, I feel fine and myself again.  So in essence, I answered the question my self.  HOW TO PRAY DURING A HECTIC MORNING?  The answer is simple.  All you have to do is start and the words/thoughts will all come racing thru.

Have a good day and be a blessing to someone today. – PJSLB

Thought of the night 12/01/16

It’s been a good day with family. Yes, I was at work today but, I am blessed to be working at a place where I consider my coworkers to be family. Today, I witnessed my daughter cheer in two basketball games and enjoyed watching my youngest daughter play (if you call it that) soccer. I also got to spend time with the family eating dinner and watching The Voice.  Even saw a dog that may be perfect for the family. Just hope that she doesn’t get a reaction when they meet.

Lord, I thank you for a beautiful day with those I love. These are the days that I love where I can be around the people you have blessed me with. I thank you for being able to watch my kids grow and watch the enjoyment in their eyes. I pray for safety for those I hold dear. I pray for my wife and kids. I even pray that when my youngest meets the new potential puppy that she doesn’t have an allergic reaction. You my my Lord and my savior. I Love You. In Jesus name, Amen PJSLB

Our lord reigns over everything under the canopy of earth. You either trust him in all or not. There is no half way. The good news is that he is always there when we fault and confess our sins.
Good night, God bless you all. – PJSLB
