The storm that didn’t come.

Life is full of unexpected events.  No matter how “prepared” you are, life can (and will) throw you a curve ball.  This was the case for me yesterday.  The southern USA was experiencing strong storms with the possibility of tornadoes.  I was nervous going to bed because the forecast called for severe storms to arrive around 1:00 am.  I said a quick prayer asking the lord to bring peace into my life.  It was then that a feeling came into my spirit. It was just in me to now “relax”.  I was no longer worried and it was just placed in my heart that everything will be alright.  In the end, the storms passed and we slept thru the night.

Keep God close an you will be embolden to not fear anything on this earth.  Be safe everyone and be comforted that our Lord has risen from the dead.

Earthy Opinions

Came across this on my Facebook wall. It was something I posted in 2013. Still rings true today. I still have a hard time with worrying what people think about me. It’s sad that in this time of my life when I am blessed with so much that I still even worry about what people say. Something I need to really focus on.

I know what really matters yet I still worry about the wrong things. Anyone else struggling with this?

Have a great weekend. God Bless!

Come To The Lord With Your Flaws.

A nice reminder that we do not have to be perfect for our lord to use us to effect change.  As this picture shows, he can and will use anyone!

I thank you lord that we can come to you for grace despite our flaws and defects.  If i had to wait till i was perfect before i could approach you…well, you would be waiting for a lifetime.  I ask that you use my life to help others while I am fortunate enough to walk on this earth.  In Jesus Name, Amen.

Good morning from the beautiful island of Guam.  God Bless!

Are you Anxious Pt. 2

7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

The Lord our Savior offers peace!!!!  Through Jesus all is attainable.  Reading the bible, we can see that through Jesus, anything is possible.  The same thought process can be used in terms or peace and understanding in terms of our emotions.

When we have problems we rationalize a solution.    We think of ways to “get out of the situaion”.  By offereing up our  concerns to Jesus, we leave it up to him.  How great is it to know that we can offer up our concerns to our Savior, and he will put them to ease.  How many nights have you spent tossing and turning because of a problem? Money, Relationships, Children, Work, School, etc. etc.  We have all had those kinds of nights.  In fact, I had one just last week.  I can vividly remember dropping on my knees and yelling our the lords name.  I offered up the problem to him and told him, I leave it all up to you.  TRUST IN THE DECISIONS THE LORD MAKES!!!  We trust him in good time, we must learn to trust him in bad times!!!

Now mind you, that the solution Jesus has, may not be what you want.  It may be the total opposite.  We must trust that the decisions the Lord has made is with our best interest in hand.  Like the verse says; …the peace of God…transcends all understanding…

Glory to the one who deserves all praises…JESUS!!!
