Pause in everything in life

I remember when i was a child, life was just one long (and I mean LONG) day. Waking up in the morning was always a drag, school days were long, and by the time you are home from extra curricular activities you now have a full night of homework. Finally, end of day only to repeat again tomorrow.

As an adult there just doesn’t seem like there is enough time. I need 30 hours to do everything. I just feel so rushed. It’s in these times the words of TobyMac mean more. Sometimes in life we just need to slow down and take things at face value. Working less on emotion and more on knowledge may help make life just a little less hectic. Be loved and be blessed today. Today is just one of those days where I wonder about the future (short and long term) and by reading this saying, I am reminded that I will be right were the Lord wants me to be. Happy hump day! PJSLB

Letting go of someone who doesn’t want help is hard

Sometimes the hardest thing about helping someone is that moment were you have to stop and let them go before they bring you down as well.

Someone out there needs to read this today. I know this is hard. I know this is hurting you. This is one of those moments were you need to just “keep your eyes on the cross.” I pray that the peace that surpasses all understanding be upon you in this time of need. In Jesus name, amen. PJSLB

When your career starts to taking over your life

There are to many people working at a place that leaves them frustrated, upset, and lacking in spirit. Life is just to short to not put work in its perspective.
