It’s okay to dream and dream big

Recently, I overheard a parent say to their child “Be realistic.” What an awful thing to say to a child. Let kids dream and have their imaginations take them away. The skies the limit. It was not to long ago when adults used to say to us kids that “…one day you can become president.”

Brothers and sisters in Christ, remember that what seems permanent on this side of the world is not. At any moment, any second, and at anytime – our God can change out circumstances just like that. Remain faithful. This feeling you have now will not last forever. Be blessed, be safe.

Why do we record ourselves helping others?

Spent the weekend in Atlanta for the Joel Osteen, Night of Hope. Walking back to the hotel, I noticed someone giving a couple of dollars to a homeless person. I then noticed a person next to him recoding the whole thing. After “donating” the person looks at the camera, smiles and throws a peace sign. They then place the camera in front of the man who just got a couple of dollars.

Was this really necessary? I am sure the person receiving the money is grateful, but I can’t stop thinking he would want some dignity as well. PJSLB.
