Merry Christmas to Asia and the Pacific and happy Christmas Eve to all

Have a blessed Christmas Eve with family and friends. If you are not with loved ones, I pray that the Holy Spirit comfort you and wrap you with love and peace.   As for me, i am blessed to be with my wife and kids.  I do not take it for granted that I have them around.  I miss my mom and dad as they are halfway around the world.  It warms my heart that they are at my fathers childhood home right now.

The Newsboys say it best.

The Holy Spirit is telling me someone needs this verse

While getting ready to start my day, I thought of then uncertainty of the future. This time i was not worried or anxious. I simply reminded myself that God is in control of all.

This verse has gotten me thru some though times. It is just in my heart to share it because someone out there needs to read and hear it.

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

‭‭

Do not worry about tomorrow… PJSLB

I love where I’m at Lord. Why should I move?

I am where I am and I am. It complaining. I feel like I am doing the Lords work and I love that. I always get nervous about the future and that’s a flaw I need to work on.

My question is…what if opportunities come that will shake the “comfort” that I am in right now? How would I know which path to take. Talk to me lord.

A Christmas good morning

Its 8 o’clock in the morning and 41 degrees.  Its cloudy, windy and “…beginning to feel a lot like Christmas“.  I should be home, i should be underneath the sheets all nice and warm.

I am instead on a field where the wind blows just a little bit harder, the sweater doesn’t help as much and I am watching my 7 year old play soccer… I WOULD NOT HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY.

I thank you lord for being able to spend this time with my daughter.  I thank you lord for giving my daughter the spirit to try something new.  I thank you for this Christmas season.  In Jesus name, Amen – PJSLB
