God give us all the tools and all the help that we need to make it thru our day to day lives. I find myself this morning troubled with thoughts of insecurities and anxiousness. The Holy Spirit reminded me of all the tones he was there for me and my spirit became calm. PJSLB
A beautiful quote to start the weekend. It is always good to be reminded that in the end, God is the one who is glorified and honored and not the dees and thoughts of mankind. I pray for safety, i pray for love, and I pray for peace for everyone this weekend. In Jesus Name, Amen. -PJSLB
Francis Chan is one of my my “go to’s” when i am looking for inspiration with a modern twist. You should definitely check him out, if you haven’t already.
There are days when i feel the weight on my shoulders. On those days, i find myself prayer just a little more harder and listen just a little more attentively to the voice of God. On those days, I need (trust) the Lord to get me thru to the other side.
Today is definitely not one of those days. Yes, I have quite a few uncertainty in my life and yes, I find myself at times alone and confused. But today I have a very say calm about life and about myself. I have felt it before and I know that its a feeling from the Holy Spirit. In my heart i feel that “everything will be alright for i am in control”. I acknowledge that and thank you lord for it. In Jesus Name, Amen -PJSLB
35 That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” 36 Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. 37 A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. 38 Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”
39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
40 He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”
41 They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”
While getting ready to start my day, I thought of then uncertainty of the future. This time i was not worried or anxious. I simply reminded myself that God is in control of all.
This verse has gotten me thru some though times. It is just in my heart to share it because someone out there needs to read and hear it.
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
Do not worry about tomorrow… PJSLB
