Growing up as a child, my parents would make weekly trips to the grocery store. At the check out line, there would always be candy and chocolates all lined up just waiting for me to get them. I would really want one but i was too afraid to ask.
One day, my mom noticed me staring particularly hard at the candy. I wanted her to ask if i wanted it, but she didnt. In the end, i whispered “mom, can you buy me some candy?” Without hesitation, she answered yes and soon after i finally had my treat!
I learned a valuable lesson that day. You will not get what you do no ask for. So if you want something, “SHOOT YOUR SHOT” because not acting upon something is a guaranteed way of not receiving anything. PJSLB
With the madness that surrounds us on an everyday basis, we tend to forget that time is not guaranteed. Ill play with the kids tomorrow or Ill give mom and dad a call this weekend are words that can haunt you for the rest of your life. So breathe, take time to enjoy the moment and lets your loved ones know that they mean the world to you.
Speaking of not having tomorrow guaranteed; if you do not know Jesus Christ as your lord and savior… i invite you to watch this video by Joyce Meyer on What happens when you accept Jesus Christ as you Lord and Savior.” PJSLB
God does not change. No matter if you feel his presence or not, through good times and bad, in darkness and light, when you search for answers or know it all; God is always there. For me personally, I have been praying for direction and purpose for years and had many false starts. Today, I am living my best life in a wonderful season and it’s because of God. I praise him for where I am now but I know that he was also there during the times of frustration, anger and confusion. Have a great day. God bless you. PJSLB
