I’ve waited to long to pray again

Heavenly Father, I thank you for this day. I’m sorry I haven’t been talking to you lately. I wish I could say it’s because i have been busy but to be honest, it’s just cause I was lazy and forgetful.

I recently bought this necklace as I reminder of your love.

Forgive me father. I thank you for keeping my family and loved ones safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. I pray for those that have contracted it. I pray for those that are without a job right now. I pray for those tonight who are worried about health and finances. I thank you lord for another successful school year for the girls. You are wonderful and glorious lord. I thank you for being patient with me. Forgive me of my sins and where I lead those close to me wrong. Bless my career and all of us on this earth. I love you lord. In Jesus name, AMEN.

If you are in Christ…

I pray that everyone is doing okay during this pandemic. I pray for safety and healing for everyone. This quarantine time has been spent with family and it has been a blessing. I always look for the good in everything. Spending quality time with my family and just enjoying each other’s company is a blessing indeed.

Want to start praying but don’t know how?

Prayer is the most powerful way to connect with God. It was a direct line to the Alpha and Omega and has been used to to win wars, begin peace, heal sickness, oversee finances, etc. With praying being so powerful, it is natural for one to think that it has to be elaborate and a spectacle.

This could not be further from the truth. Praying is simply talking. This can be hard for many to do but once you begin to view God not just as God but as a father, this becomes easier. How do you talk to the adult figures in your life? When you are hungry do you have a whole speech just to ask for food? NO, you simply say I am hungry. The same with God. If you want something, if you are scared, worried, or just want to say hi, just talk…no need for pageantry. Here is how I start my prayers…

Heavenly Father, I thank you for this day. Today, is going to be rough….

Why Jesus tells you not to worry

Someone out there needs to read this and hear it’s message. The current situation our world is facing has everyone evaluating ones life. I even had a couple of sleepless nights worrying about COVID-19. Let us all take comfort in knowing that our Lord shall provide.
