Who to follow on Twitter – @GreatBibleVerse

This morning one of the people i follow on twitter re-tweeted a verse from Ephesians 1:4 which reads “For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.”  God Chose us…prior to the world’s creation to be holy and without fault before him.  I thank you lord that finding @GreatBibleVerse on twitter.  There are many people who post bible verses on twitter on a regular basis, but i found @GreatBibleVerse simple and to the point.  If you need a pick me up once in a while or just love reading the words of the Lord, this is one that you should be following on Twitter.  Have a good day everyone.   God Bless you and may we all have a safe weekend.

Also, don’t forget to follow me at @needthespirit for more inspirational stories about the love of the Holy Spirit.

Earthly work can honor the Lord.

I had this verse ready to go but just had a feeling in me to wait before posting.

Work is work and work is indeed tough. 24 hours a day just doesn’t seem like it’s enough time. We all get rushed and in return we get cranky.

I am being led to say that there is someone out there that needs to read this verse. Anything you do, do it for God and his glory. We cannot fathom the greatness and intellectual of our God. Do your work to honor him…who knows what God will use you for.

Jesus died and rose again so that we may live.

Amen.

Daily Bible Verse – 08/10/15

How should a Christian act? How should a Christian feel about a certain topic? How should a person of God feel about cultural events? How should WE feel when our enemies are plotting against us?  The answer is love. It’s always been about love.

31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. 32 Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. (‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭31-32‬ NLT)

Praying is my direct line while the Bible is his text Message.

With the whole move and all its safe to safe that life has been pretty stressful.  I prayed often and spoke to our Lord on a daily basis.  Even in the times when i felt that our conversations were a one way street, I knew our God was listening.  Its similar to when my kids try to tell me about their problems.  I always nod in agreement often and we reach the point where I am completely silent while my kids of on and on.

As i look back the one thing i didn’t do so much was read the Bible.  There is no denying that earthly challenges can feel like the weight of the world is o your shoulders.  There is something to be said that no matter what we should always take the time to seek and listen to God’s words.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”  2 Timothy 3:16-17

May the Lord bless you, keep you, and give you the courage not to be an undercover Christian.
