What the bible says about worrying

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. – Philippians 4:6

My absolute favorite verse in the bible.  From 6th grade worrying about friends, 8th grade worrying about high school, and now being an adults worrying about my family; this verse speaks to whatever stage you are in your life.

Some translations use WORRY while others use ANXIOUS.  The thing is; arent the two one and the same.  Worry leads to you being anxious and vice versa.  In my life, i have used this verse in the literal sense.  I would plead (petition) my case and in doing so at a young age, it has shapped the way i pray to God.  My prayers are personal and intimate.  PJSLB

Trust Me…Listen to Bobby McFerrin and DONT WORRY BE HAPPY!!!.

What does God want your mind set on?

Have a great Sunday! A day of rest, rejuvenate, and reflection.

We were not meant to walk this Earth alone

One of the things I have learned in my adult years is that you can not go through life on your own. Sure, you maybe squeak by and get to the next day (and the next) but that is not what God had in mind. We were built to have relationships. We were built to share ideas, to share our highs and be there for one another during our lows.

Matthew 18:20 New International Version (NIV)– For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

Life is tough and being alone makes it that much harder. I ask that you be there for someone today and if the moment calls for it; allow someone to be there for you in your time of need. God Bless Us All. PJSLB
