As expected the day went better as the hours rolled by. Lot’s of honest conversations for Christ and got some things off my chest. Thats what i love about my relationship with Christ. ITS OPEN!!! Jesus doesn’t expect me to go thru life smiling. He understands that I will have good days and bad days. Jesus understands how i feel because he has walked on this earth!!! My savior is their for me to turn to when i am having a bad day. The main things i got from this day are:
Jesus walked on this earth and suffered more than i will ever suffer here. If my savior goes thru trials and tribulations, why should i be except from them?
As a Christian I am allowing Jesus to use me as a told to help others. Because of this by default i will ALWAYS be the giver. As far as being a a receiver; I have received everything I already needed when i accepted Jesus as my lord and savior. I don’t need anything more.
So use me lord to further your kingdom. In Good days and in bad, you are with me always.
I came across this on the internet. It was written by David Wilkerson. You can find the article here. It is definitely an uplifting read.
It’s been a frustrating morning. It’s one of those mornings that feels like nothing is going right. Everything that I would normally brush off is irritating me today. Here is just a sample of what I’m taking about today.
It’s frustrating being the giver always. When can I be the receiver? When will someone help me?
It’s tiresome being good and trying to make a difference when you don’t see results.
I have been patient long enough. When will it be my turn for success and good fortune?
It’s great that everyone thinks my life is good but in reality in stuck in the mud just spinning my wheels.
I know these thoughts will go away as the day moves on. Today will be a lot of prayer, reflecting, and readings. Update as the days moves on…
Thoughts would be appreciated.
Impossible is nothing when the lord is with you. Keep your eyes focused on the lord and not on any of the distractions thrown at you.
Thank you Jeter for 20 years of doing it the right way. Thank you for giving my kids someone to look up to. Thank you for the memories you have given me. In 1996 you made me believe in divine intervention with Jeffery Maier. You made it easier for me to introduce baseball to my girlfriend (wife now) in 1999. In 2001 in the midst of the pain of 9/11, I screamed my head off as i saw you dart across my TV screen to flip the ball to Posada for the out. I have seen your patented jump throw numerous times and it never gets old. You showed me what heart is when you went diving into the stands during a game with Boston to get an out only to come out of the stands bloody and bruised.. Speaking of pain, I felt your pain as you slid into 3rd and getting your shoulder dislocated in Toronto. I have much more memories to speak off but if i was to write down all the memories you have given me, this would be a book not a blog. See you in 5 years in Cooperstown.
Here’s to you number 2. Much Re2pect. Thank You. God Bless You.

I remember the excitement in my daughters (grade 4K) voice as she was telling me about a song they had performed while attending Vacation Bible School at Northside Christian Church in Macon, GA. The song was called “Days of Elijah” by Robin Mark. The song she learned was accompanied by simple choreography. I can recall thanking God under my breath in that moment for showing himself to my daughter. I also made a mental note of the song becuase I knew a day would come when that song would come back into our lives and put a smile on my daughters face as she gets older.
Four years later my daughter has gotten so big. She has adjusted well to the move to Guam and is still seeking out our lord. She is also beginning to learn about our US government and how the consitution is the law of the land. I want my daughter to love this great country of ours and still honor our God. I am motivated by this passage
“And Jesus said to them, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” And they were amazed at Him.” Mark 12:17
I was looking for something that ties in love for our country and love for our God. After watching this Video, I am confident that i found the perfect video to show my daughter. I can’t wait for her to watch this tomorrow. Watch the video. It will definitely lift your spirit.
