Thank you Jeter for 20 years of doing it the right way. Thank you for giving my kids someone to look up to. Thank you for the memories you have given me. In 1996 you made me believe in divine intervention with Jeffery Maier. You made it easier for me to introduce baseball to my girlfriend (wife now) in 1999. In 2001 in the midst of the pain of 9/11, I screamed my head off as i saw you dart across my TV screen to flip the ball to Posada for the out. I have seen your patented jump throw numerous times and it never gets old. You showed me what heart is when you went diving into the stands during a game with Boston to get an out only to come out of the stands bloody and bruised.. Speaking of pain, I felt your pain as you slid into 3rd and getting your shoulder dislocated in Toronto. I have much more memories to speak off but if i was to write down all the memories you have given me, this would be a book not a blog. See you in 5 years in Cooperstown.
Here’s to you number 2. Much Re2pect. Thank You. God Bless You.

I remember the excitement in my daughters (grade 4K) voice as she was telling me about a song they had performed while attending Vacation Bible School at Northside Christian Church in Macon, GA. The song was called “Days of Elijah” by Robin Mark. The song she learned was accompanied by simple choreography. I can recall thanking God under my breath in that moment for showing himself to my daughter. I also made a mental note of the song becuase I knew a day would come when that song would come back into our lives and put a smile on my daughters face as she gets older.
Four years later my daughter has gotten so big. She has adjusted well to the move to Guam and is still seeking out our lord. She is also beginning to learn about our US government and how the consitution is the law of the land. I want my daughter to love this great country of ours and still honor our God. I am motivated by this passage
“And Jesus said to them, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” And they were amazed at Him.” Mark 12:17
I was looking for something that ties in love for our country and love for our God. After watching this Video, I am confident that i found the perfect video to show my daughter. I can’t wait for her to watch this tomorrow. Watch the video. It will definitely lift your spirit.

GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY.
Too many times, we dwell on past mistakes and problems that have long been solved and get ourselves in such a funk. We love replaying the past and the moment when we get hurt. Why did it happen? What could we have done differently? Lean on your faith in Christ and move on. Lay down whatever you hve gone thru on the foot of the cross. Give it to Christ. It’s time to move on to better things.
It may not seem like it BUT God is always working in our everyday life. No event you experience is coincidence. In the end every event in our life is related to one another.
