As a fan of Naruto, I remember the first time I saw this and felt the chills run down my spine!
Same business trip, different country.
Well it’s been about 8 months but I am back in the air. Part of the reason for coming back to the States was to travel less and be with the family more. Here are some texts during the two day trip.
2:44 am – Hi. I am going to get ready to leave now. Everyone is still sleeping. Love you.
3:15 am – in the name of Jesus as I stand in front of my girls as they sleep, I pray that the Holy Spirit bless them with a father that loves you, lives to please you and follow wherever you lead me.
3:40 – hi. I’m now at the groome a transportation waiting for my shuttle to Atlanta. love you.
4:07 am – Hi girls. I’m now in the shuttle heading to Atlanta now. love you.
5:15 am – Hello again. 😊 I’m at the airport now in line for security. love you.
7:00 am – Hi girls. I’m in the plane now and have to shut off phone. I’ll turn it on again around 9 am and will call you when you girls get home from school. love you. God bless you.
10:05 am – Hi. I’m now at Washington waiting for my shuttle to take me to the airport. The airport in Washington first really look nice. The airport on Guam is nicer. love you.
I took this picture around mid afternoon and it was just something that moved me. As I was siting in the park waiting for my hotel shuttle, I overheard a little boy wanting to play catch with his dad. I hear the dad agree and soon afterwards I hear the sound of a football traveling in the air. I look up and my jaw when I saw the”dad” who was throwing the ball. It was an old man around hi late 50’s and he was wearing suit. Now mind you, this wasn’t a cheap suit you can get for for $100.00. This was a high quality suit. It warmed my heart to see a dad take time out of their busy schedule to put a smile on his sons face. I guarantee that’s it will be dry-cleaned by the end of the week.
7:49 am – Good morning girls. I heard you all enjoyed Zootopia. I wish I had a chance to watch with everyone. Mom said she was so tired and went to sleep in the movie theater. Lol. Well, I am dressed up and going to get breakfast. My day start at 8:45 and will end around 5:00 pm. Hey, the college I went to Seton Hall made it to their conference finals… I AM SO HAPPY FOR THIS! Have a great day…love you…God bless you…and I’ll call during lunch time.
Needless to say that my family is on my mind always. God bless us all! Till next time.
Christian Hip Hop
I love Hip-Hop. Let me rephrase that…I LOVE MUSIC. Born in New York, raised on Guam, and living at one time or another in every region of our country, my taste in music is as wide as the Grand Canyon.
As a Christian who loves music (especially Hip Hop) it’s increasingly getting hard to find music that uplifts me spiritually. Sure, you have music like those found on K-LOVE but sometimes you just want to get hyped up and enjoy the bass banging from the speakers in your car. Today, I found such a rapper that not only connected me with me college years but has now connected with me on a Christian level.
I first came across MC JIN when he would do those freestyle battles on BET back in the day. He would then play a role in one of my favorite move franchises, The Fast and the Furious. He played Jimmy in 2 Fast 2 Furious. Today, MC Jin is a professed Christian. He still sounds the same as if he was still doing battles on BET but the message has changed. I thank God for being able to listen to something like this in my car!
Here is a sample on MC JIN with he was on a morning talk show.

Love the line – You go to church, read the bible, that’s great I applaud you, but it’s all a question of How’s your relationship with the father!
You can follow MC Jin on Twitter as well by following @iammcjin.
Comment with any all Christian artist you listen to right now! God Bless All Of US!
Love the blessings, hate the lessons
One of the things I really have to learn is accepting that if I want something, I have to be willing to wait for it and also be willing to go thru some rocky moments for it. It’s the “can’t have your cake and eat it too” train of thought. Came across this on the KLOVE Facebook wall. A beautiful verse from proverbs that talks about having to be willing to be disciplined in order to obtain something (like knowledge). Have a good Monday everyone! God Bless!
