2018 Spring Break – Destin, Florida

In a world were our kids are using their handheld devices everyday, I take it as a blessing to take these trips and just spend face to face time with them. This year, we decided on Destin, Florida. We have family flying in from L.A. for Grandparents Day at FPD and they wanted to visit extended family in the area. People ask me if i ever do anything besides posting about my faith or how i practice my faith. Here are some pics from the trip. Have a blessed week with family and friends. UPDATED REGULARLY.

The Sorrow of Christmas

Christmas is full of joy and laughter. A chance to be with family, friends and loved ones. Christmas is also a time of painful goodbyes and memories of years past.

This past month my parents came over for the holiday season and after not seeing them for over two years, I had such fun having them around. This morning I dropped them off to the airport so they can play “tourist” for a week; visiting some beautiful places out country has to offer. Although, I will see them in a week my heart still hurts.

When enjoying the Holiday season with your loved ones, keep an eye out on those who are missing someone. Be compassionate and be a keeper of you fellow brothers and sisters. God Bless. PJSLB

Only on Guam (Video)

I am always asked how life was on Guam and if it was worth it to go back.  Yes, it was worth it! My daughters have a renewed sense of pride of where they came from.  Being able to live on Guam (and Philippines and Japan) is something that has shaped their lives for the better.

Any picture I take of Guam will not do it justice.  I did find a video from the Guam Visitors Bureau that showcases the beauty on Guam.  Enjoy, God Bless and to all on Guam…BIBA!!! -PJSLB
