What can be gained by worrying?


We all have experienced it at one point in our life; staying up all night just dreading, worrying, be anxious about what tomorrow will bring. It may be a test you are not ready for, your kids making unwise choices, a marriage that is on unstable ground, the health of a loved one. Yes, these are all important events BUT these are events that are also impossible for you to manipulate by worrying about them. Why not just let go, and lay it all on the cross of our savior?

Who to follow on Twitter – @GreatBibleVerse 

This morning one of the people i follow on twitter re-tweeted a verse from Ephesians 1:4 which reads “4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.”  God Chose us…prior to the world’s creation to be holy and without fault before him.  I thank you lord that finding @GreatBibleVerse on twitter.  There are many people who post bible verses on twitter on a regular basis, but i found @GreatBibleVerse simple and to the point.  If you need a pick me up once in a while or just love reading the words of the Lord, this is one that you should be following on Twitter.  Have a good day everyone.   God Bless you and may we all have a safe weekend.

86,400 seems like a lot…BUT

I love quotes. They have a way of putting our emotions into words. I came across these in the middle of the night (3:38 am) and they have really sparked a fire in me. I can’t sleep anymore! I am inspired, I am ready. I think of all the ideas and plans the the Holy Spirit has placed within me yet I still have not moved. Time is running out…got to get moving.

I feel you in the room today…

This is what I am feeling at the moment.  It’s a feeling and a presence that can overwhelm.  The quote today from Joyce Meyer’s really fits today.  I feel the Holy Spirit talking to me right now tell me that “all will be alright…” 

I pray that you have experienced something like this as well…

My Prayer: I am having a very strong feeling right now. I feel your presence and I acknowledge that you are in the room with me right now. My heart is beating fast, I cannot get you out of my mind. I have a busy day and I am thinking of the many tasks that have to be down today. But, in this moment…this second…I feel you and it’s an overwhelming feeling. I wonder what will come from this day…
