Why be an undercover Christian? Live life!
Too many times we think about what we dont have instead of remember what we do have. We think about the car we want and not about the reliable car that we have now. For me, its thinking about all the pain and frustration in my previous careers and not realizing that they all made me what i am today. I pray that today we all take a moment and think about what we have and not what we lack. PJSLB
We all have heard about going thrugh Hills and Valleys. Life has its up and downs and we should face them both the same; stay level headed. Even Tauren Well’s wrote a song on this.
The thing is at this moment in my life, it is not a hill or a valley. Its pretty much a straight road. I just wanted to acknowledge that life is more than just being up and being down. Sometimes, life is about being in the moment…being current…and i am okay with where i am right now. In Jesus Name, have a great weekend. PJSLB
Too often, when life gets hard for a Christian, we ask for prayers, talk with friends and family about our problems, and even write about it. We always get the beginning of the story but we rarely hear bout the next chapter. When the situation we were stressing has been resolved, we rarely inform the people who prayed for us the outcome. In doing so, the person praying for you is just left wondering.
If you ask someone to pray for you, please update them on what has been happening. When a person prays for you, they sincerely care and are now vested in the situation as well. Have a great week. PJSLB
A Sunday of doing absolutely nothing. That is what I have going on right now. Today, the family went to see Aladdin and although that sounded tempting, i just couldn’t. I am a purist and not way can that compare to the original…even if that original is a cartoon
So now I find myself at the local Starbucks sipping on my Ice Green Tea just watching the world turn. It’s amazing how much of the world you can learn about being at a Starbucks. From kids (and quite a few adults) working to their school stuff to the couple sitting outside talking about what could be some serious subject…life just continues.
I always thought it was silly to see people just sit here drying their coffee or tea and just kill time. It’s really not so silly now that i have to be here for the next two hours.
