Why be an undercover Christian? Live life!

I’ve learned that being strict isn’t the way to raise kids in today’s world. In a world where our kids are being attacked in every direction, we need to be a safe haven.

The last couple of weeks have been rough. Bad head cold followed by a cough that feels like Thor himself is hitting my chest with his hammer.
The thing about being sick (especially for me) is that I am an absolute baby. When sick, I cannot function. It’s times like this that I just wish the days go by.
I thank you lord for this day. I thank you lord for waking me up and giving me time to enjoy my family and friends. I know that times are rough, but the fact that I have been given another day should be celebrated.

Kids have always had a hard time expressing their emotions. This has always been the case even before we were all born. This generation is having a much harder time with this than any other generation before them. Technology has crippled them in their social and communication skills. It’s not their fault. It’s just a sign of times. We as parents have to do a better job in really trying to understand what our kids are saying. Have a blessed day everyone.

When a child is born, the skies the limit on what they can become. The problem arises when we as parent begin to place our dreams, aspirations, and goals onto them. Too many kids become adults with careers they are not passionate about simply because it was a path chosen for them. No wonder why we have so many adults that are miserable. Let the kids live.
