Heavenly father I thank you for this day. Too many times I just sit in the corner upset that I don’t have what I want when in reality I don’t have because I don’t ask. There are times when I view you as some cosmic being that is far away, and not a loving father that is here just wanting to talk to me.
Are you really helping the poor?
Is it really helping the poor if you’re doing it for clout? Does a poor person even care what your intentions are as long as they get what they want?
