A heavy heart for my child

My heart is heavy tonight as I see my child go through bullying at school. She tries to keep her head held high but I see the tears. My strong child is at her lowest right now. It pains me to see her like this.

Guarding my heart today as my parents prepare to leave

My mom and dad have been here for a month and I had a blast having them. I loved the joy they bring to my family and seeing joy in their eyes as well. I am so sad that they are leaving tomorrow. It breaks my heart. Today above all the the verse above really applies to me. I need to focus on God, his plans, and trust that all will be okay. PJSLB

Hurricane Dorian is messing our Labor Day plans

Not knowing where Dorian will ultimately make landfall in the South has put quite a damper on the holiday break. Praying for safety. Staying the in Atlantic would be nice. PJSLB
