We all need a laugh from time to time and what better thing to make a little more lighthearted than politics. Have a great day everyone and there are a few elections that may go to a run off. If you are in an area that has one…continue to vote! God bless everyone.
With all the talk about the current state of the Catholic church, we forget the many who do great work for the Lord. People like Father George. He was my theology teacher at Father Duenas Memorial School at Mangilao, Guam. He taught me one of the greatest lessons I learned. He taught me how to love Christ in the real world.
This was a man that was after the heart of Christ. I’m not an emotional person by any means but this one got to me. Father George was a molder of men and we are all better sons, husbands, brothers, cousins, uncles, Etc. because of this man. He is the reason why I know the books of the Bible (Ror Cor Gal Eph Philly Col…) and even prepared me for my move to Tampa by sharing what the world outside of Guam was like. Rest easy Father George. I thank you for being an example to many of what love for Christ really looks like. Till next time in heaven. FORTES IS FIDE.
Team praying before competition starts. This is pretty nerve wrecking to watch you kid do all these flips. PJSLB
During the WE ARE MESSENGERS concert in Macon, GA a beautiful thing took place. In between sets something caught the eye of Darren Mulligan, the lead singer of We are Messengers. Darren walked over (climbing over seats people were sitting) to hug and pray for a young lady. There was a hush on the crowd and without knowing the details, I started praying for her as well. Minutes later, Darren got on stage and continued singing as if nothing happened.
On the way home, my daughter and I were talking about that moment and were in awe on how the Holy Spirit was in that concert. What was said by Darren to that young lady was to forever be a mystery.
That was until I received a comment on my post from the concert. Turns out the lady’s name is April and this is her story.
I will 150% agree with You! I was at this concert. As a matter of fact he came off stage and prayed for me! He told me I didn’t always have to be strong, that I could let go, that is was in the Lord’s hands! What he didn’t know was I had just lost my dad the previous week. The tickets were given to me just the day before by my office manager because she had something come up. GOD knew I needed to be there! Darren spoke to me with the sweetest Irish accent, and I felt as if Jesus had his arms wrapped around me! This experience was more than you will ever get from church! And I’m proud to have had my daughter and dear friend experience this with me. Later the next day I went Darren a message on Facebook asking why of all the people at this event, Why Me? He said the Holy Spirit pointed me out to him. I will NEVER forget this moment! Watching your video still bring me chills! Cant wait for you to post more!
I have to say this was one of the most awesome thing I have ever witness. I pray April that the moments with Darren gave you the peace and comfort that can only come from Christ. In Jesus Name. Amen. PJSLB
