Viewing your day thru your “Christian Lens”

I hope each and everyone of you is having a great start to the morning.  This week was full of dread, worry, and just being anxious overall BUT the more I examine my tasks this week thru my “Christian Lens”,  i see that just like anything else in life, worrying just takes away the joy in life.

Just as it is said in Matthew 6:27

Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

When in doubt…return to the beginning

Remember doing those paper mazes as a child and how you would have to retrace your steps and find another way when you get to a dead end? Worse, you would be so stuck that you have to just return to the beginning and start all over. That’s life as a Christian. We get lost at times and try to make adjustments on our own. Sometimes those adjustments work, sometimes we are just so lost we need to start over. Is your life just crazy and confusing? Follow John 1:1 and start back from the begging and Gods word.

God bless you and all you hold dear.

Who to follow on Twitter – @GreatBibleVerse

This morning one of the people i follow on twitter re-tweeted a verse from Ephesians 1:4 which reads “For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.”  God Chose us…prior to the world’s creation to be holy and without fault before him.  I thank you lord that finding @GreatBibleVerse on twitter.  There are many people who post bible verses on twitter on a regular basis, but i found @GreatBibleVerse simple and to the point.  If you need a pick me up once in a while or just love reading the words of the Lord, this is one that you should be following on Twitter.  Have a good day everyone.   God Bless you and may we all have a safe weekend.

Also, don’t forget to follow me at @needthespirit for more inspirational stories about the love of the Holy Spirit.

Love the blessings, hate the lessons

One of the things I really have to learn is accepting that if I want something, I have to be willing to wait for it and also be willing to go thru some rocky moments for it. It’s the “can’t have your cake and eat it too” train of thought. Came across this on the KLOVE Facebook wall. A beautiful verse from proverbs that talks about having to be willing to be disciplined in order to obtain something (like knowledge). Have a good Monday everyone! God Bless!
