Today, my youngest and her class got to lead chapel today at FPD. It was awesome to see kids being able to learn about Christ in a safe and loving environment. My family is grateful for the blessing that is FPD. PJSLB
The verse they were reciting is John 19:24
They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.
We are wired for movement. Our society tells us if we want something to happen, we should not rely on anyone but ourselves. It is that mindset that makes this verse so hard to follow. There comes a point in our life when enough is enough and we need to let go. When that time comes, heed the advice of psalms; be still and know that God is an over all. PJSLB 
Rejection is a part of life. It is painful and life altering. The opposite can be used to describe God. Acceptance is a part of life. It is wonderful and also life altering. PJSLB
