Why is it hard to forgive?

I replay hurt and negative events always. I try to replay moments when i felt let down to remember exactly how i felt to make sure i don’t get hurt again. I want to forgive but for some reason, i find myself wanting to keep the emotions of anger in. Why do we do that?PJSLB

Jesus is Risen and I am forgiven

Matthew 28:6

He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.

Happy Easter to everyone out there. I pray that the day is filled with family and loved ones.

To all my family and friends in the offline world and the 3,000 plus readers online, I want to thank the lord that you are all in my life. I try to live my life in the way that Jesus said…IN HIM AND WITH LOVE. I love God and I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of the living God who was born of this earth, died and on the third day rose again from the dead in fulfillment of the scriptures. I believe that only thru Jesus, I am saved.

Unfortunately, I am human and fall short many times I believe that I am here on earth to share Gods love. If at anytime we have crossed paths and you didn’t feel Gods love, I am sorry. I am not a perfect Christian and that’s alright. God does not expect me to be perfect for only Jesus walked this earth as perfect. But on a day we celebrate the resurrection of Christ, I want to say that Jesus loves you and thru the cross and resurrection we are all forgiven. If you don’t know Christ like this, i pray that God would reveal to you his perfect love. HAPPY EASTER 2018. PJSLB

Stewardship Rewarded

“So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas. ‘Put this money to work,’ he said, ‘until I come back.’…The first one came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned ten more.’ ‘Well done, my good servant!’ his master replied. ‘Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.’”

Luke 19:13, 16-17

Good stewardship of our spiritual gifts and financial resources will be rewarded in God’s kingdom. There is accountability for what God has entrusted to us. We will all have our conversation with the King. Knowing what we have been given is our first priority. Living with kingdom values as we invest our resources, relationships, gifts and capacity into Christ’s mission and commission must be our priority! The reward for good faith-filled stewardship of what we’ve been given (health, family, vision, faith and so much more) is much greater than we ever imagined. Jesus calls us to lead cities in his kingdom. No assignment is too small to ignore good stewardship.

Lord Jesus, thank you for all I’ve been given. I desire to live with risk-taking obedience as a faithful steward, for your glory.

How a Christian shines like a star

Lord, i pray that you use our lives to show others your love and grace. May those who observe our lives see you living within us. In Jesus name, Amen. PJSLB
